As one would see a dentist to maintain and repair their
teeth, one would see a chiropractor to maintain and
repair their spine; but a distinct difference exists. If
your teeth wear out, you can replace them with a false
set of teeth. If your spine wears out, there is nothing
that can replace it. Your spine houses one of your most
important organs - the organ that’s responsible for the
communication network to every cell, tissue, organ,
and system in your body: YOUR SPINAL CORD. It’s
simple; as a patient and doctor of chiropractic, I take
pride in making sure your spinal column is in the best
condition it can be so that this vital communication
network can keep everything in your body at optimal
working function. Routine visits to a chiropractor are just
as important as your routine dental cleaning. I believe
prevention is the key. Getting your spine checked and
adjusted by a chiropractor is one of the greatest ways to
preserve your health.
You know how you get upset when your cell phone
or internet service fails to function? It’s a problem
in communication. I like to see patients even more
concerned when this occurs in their own bodies. Taking
action to remedy the internet but not the body is a
typical approach many of us take. Always remember,
the five most dangerous words are, “Maybe it will go
away.” Like a cavity in a tooth, a problem in your spine
may never heal without intervention and guidance from
a chiropractor.
